Miss Nude Canada Pageant 2006 - November 20, 2006
The Miss Nude Canada Pageant has been a proud Canadian tradition for more than 30 years and Cambridge's newest gentlemen's club, Velvet Lounge is proud to host the event this year from Nov 20-25, 2006. The event starts at about 8PM and ends at about 2AM. This upscale club features a 30 foot waterfall on the main stage, a suspended glass stage in the VIP, 24 state of the art booths with 20 inch monitors, 3 glass enclosed VIP rooms and the only rooftop patio in Ontario where you can get a dance. The Blue Pages is honoured to do a news coverage on the event and share with our readers.
Today is the first show of the pageant and after meeting up with Chris Lansdale the owner of Miss Nude Canada Pageant, we gathered together with all the judges for an important meeting. Chris did a great job explaining to all the judges the pageant format, rules of conduct and most importantly spelling out in great detail the judging criteria and score sheet formula. After 45 minutes or so of debriefing it's time for the show to begin! As the judges take their seats, I got the honour to meet Peter Robinson who is one of Canada's most-recognized Glamour Photographer and has been covering the various Miss Nude Canada Pageants and preliminaries in Ontario for many years now. Shaun Alexander who is also renowned for his unique style of work with international supermodels photographed for the world's top fashion and glamour magazines. Last but not least, John who is in charge with video for Peter Robinson.
Tonight there will be 9 contestants dancing a short program the first run through and then followed by their feature dance performances. Judges will be scoring both programs each with a different set of criteria focus. The dance contestants are: Ryann Rain, Madison Q, Paris Lamore, Marci De Sade, Bambi, Fiona Fox, Fantasy, Ginger Jones and Fiona Phoenix.
Contestant's Feature Dance Program:
Ryann Rain
Ryann Rain started off the program in a very sexy and colourful kimono as a Japanese Geisha. From there she dances and entertains the crowd with a body paint show (matching colours with her kimono I might add), ending with a shower with lots of bubbles in the air. Great illusion with the matching colour body paint as she showers the paint off, it also portrays her as undressing.
Madison Q
Madison Q in her pink and purple dance dress not only dances but did a few strip pole routines showing her athleticism. For the cheering crowd out there, they were rewarded with Madison Q posters!
Paris Lamore
No, it's not Paris Hilton! It's Paris Lamore! She dressed up in a school girl dress and out came the barbie doll from her school bag. The music "Barbie Girl" by Aqua played in the background as she started posing the barbie doll and posed with it. Come on Barbie, let's go party! Ah, Ah, Ah, yea... Come on Barbie, let's go party! uu-oooh.. uu-oooh.. Party it was, with a shower finale. One lucky gentleman got a Miss Nude Canada hat from Paris!
Marci De Sade
Marci instantly reminds me of Japanese anime. She is a wild, hot and busty warrior... a true embodiment of art, with tattoos decorating her body. A definite unique dancer that stands out from the other contestants with her visual costume and character.
Bambi
You won't see this Bambi in your Disney DVD collection. She is the cute little red devil dancing, teasing and inviting you for a fore-taste of her domain. As you enter her chamber she gives one hell of a shower performance in a glass bowl. Be dazzled with light, bubbles, fire, water, smoke... it was one hell of a great performance by Bambi!!! It's just like watching a high end Vegas production show... just simply AMAZING!
Fiona Fox
Fiona Fox was in a scary black Halloween costume, but don't let that scare you away... with magic, she transforms into a beauty in black lingerie. She plays with fire and forget about silk screening a design on a t-shirt! Fiona does her best t-shirt art using her body and paint, the new age Picasso.
Fantasy
Fantasy... what's your fantasy? Glow in the dark paint on a life beautiful lady? Well, fantasize no more as Fantasy gets the crowd engaged in a colourful body paint showcase. It starts from the top and it goes all the way south.
Ginger Jones
Ginger Jones looks stunning in the black and red Japanese silk kimono. Fire and Ice is the order of the day as she brings out her flaming fan and heat up the stage... finishing the performance with a soapy bath.
Fiona Phoenix
Fiona got a lot going underneath the innocent nun costume. As she sings to the music she transforms into a red devil with a devilish tail. Leaving the innocence, she entertains, dances, throws some devil goodies to the loudest cheers and more...
My first impression with the event is that it's very professionally organized and executed. The venue was great and the staff were very helpful. Great job to everyone involved! Much applause and cheers to all the 9 beautiful and talented contestants for the great performances.
